I have used other belkin surge protectors in my office and have been satisfied with them. This was a factor in deciding to purchase this one. I really like the surge protector's number of outlets and the order they are arranged. However I believe the manufacturer could improve the mounting holes it has on the bottom for mounting the device on the wall. This is a bit challenging under a desk. This surge protector is a great value and a very feature laden product for it's type. The cord organizer is a very welcome addition. Once routed through to thier respective outlets the mass of attached AC cords no longer looks like an 'electrical porcupine' but instead as a very well designed and neat feature with very visible and immediate benefits. The Belkin 6 Outlet Home/Office Surge Protector is a practical power strip that offers basic protection, 6 outlets, and is slim. There's a standard warranty on the surge protector in the case it fails to do its job. The only complaint I have about the power bar is that the power cable is short. I didn't realize how short 2.5 feet were until I tried to move the bar under my desk and couldn't get it that far under, away from the wall outlet. ...more

[2] Rating: 4 Date: 2010-03-12 Summary: Great, but not perfect ... The product worked as advertised. I am indeed glad that it has a fuse in case of short or overload. Given that its intended use is in a foreign country, in my case India, it would have been awfully nice to have had a replacement fuse included in the carrying case. For half the trip, I had a wonderful power converter which had not been blown up in an unfortunate short because of a fuse; but no way to purchase or find a replacement fuse in a foreign and somewhat remote area. I -joist - Manufactured structural building component resembling the letter "I". Used as floor joists and rafters. I -joists include two key parts: flanges and webs. The flange or from of the I joist may be made of laminated veneer lumber or dimensional lumber, usually formed into a 1 «" width. The web or center of the I -joist is commonly made of plywood or oriented strand board (OSB). Large holes can be cut in the web to accommodate duct work and plumbing waste lines.
