[2] Rating: 4 Date: 2010-03-06 Summary: Belkin 12 - outlet Surge Protector ... Once the product arrived I untangled the mess of power cords I had under my computer desk. I have used other belkin surge protectors in my office and have been satisfied with them. This was a factor in deciding to purchase this one. I really like the surge protector's number of outlets and the order they are arranged. However I believe the manufacturer could improve the mounting holes it has on the bottom for mounting the device on the wall. This is a bit challenging under a desk. I would like to see the mounting holes ...more
[3] Rating: 4 Date: 2010-03-07 Summary: Feature-rich for the price. Belkin is a trusted brand. No cables included. ... This surge protector is a great value and a very feature laden product for it's type. The cord organizer is a very welcome addition. Once routed through to thier respective outlets the mass of attached AC cords no longer looks like an 'electrical porcupine' but instead as a very well designed and neat feature with very visible and immediate benefits. I've had many power strips in the past but this one extra feature has been long overdue. Remember ...."neatness counts" As you may know it has surge protection as well ...more

Customer Reviews — [1] Rating: 4 Date: 2009-11-30 Summary: A practical and cheap power bar ... The Belkin 6 Outlet Home/Office Surge Protector is a practical power strip that offers basic protection, 6 outlets, and is slim. There's a standard warranty on the surge protector in the case it fails to do its job. The only complaint I have about the power bar is that the power cable is short. I didn't realize how short 2.5 feet were until I tried to move the bar under my desk and couldn't get it that far under, away from the wall outlet. ...more
[2] Rating: 4 Date: 2010-01-31 Summary: Cheap and works ... There's not too much to say about this surge protector. It's cheap and it provides power. I wish the outlets were rotated 90 degrees to make "wall warts" fit a bit better. ...more

[2] Rating: 4 Date: 2010-03-12 Summary: Great, but not perfect ... The product worked as advertised. I am indeed glad that it has a fuse in case of short or overload. Given that its intended use is in a foreign country, in my case India, it would have been awfully nice to have had a replacement fuse included in the carrying case. For half the trip, I had a wonderful power converter which had not been blown up in an unfortunate short because of a fuse; but no way to purchase or find a replacement fuse in a foreign and somewhat remote area. For those planning to purchase this unit, ...more
