I purchased these 'L' cleats to use for installation of a strand bamboo flooring of approximately 640 square feet. They performed well and despite the hardness of the material, they never deformed or bent. They worked very well in an Akuzuki pro-series cleat/staple nailer. The only reason I gave them four stars rather than five is because they seemed to separate rather easily when handled prior to loading into the stapler. I don't know whether other brands of flooring cleats do this as well, and they otherwise performed ...more

The nails are good-to-go right out of the box, and for half as much as I'd be paying at HD or Lowes. The only nuisance is that some of the nails un-stuck themselves from each other, just like you'll find in a box of office staples. Kind of a pain to have to pick out and load individual nails instead of just pulling out an entire line of 'em, but I got over it. ...more

Many of the poor reviews of the nails relate to the Porter Cable nailer. Maybe the issue is with the nailer and not the nails. Poor reviews of the PC nailer is one of the reasons I went with Milwaukee. The nails were shipped quickly and arrived in perfect condition. Nail box related help/definitions

Brick veneer - a four-inch brick wall used to provide an exterior finish for a house.

CFM (cubic feet per minute) - A rating that expresses the amount of air a blower or fan can move. The volume of air (measured in cubic feet) that can pass through an opening in one minute.

Capital - The principal part of a loan, i.e. the original amount borrowed.

Fire brick - Brick made of refractory ceramic material which will resist high temperatures. Used in a fireplace and boiler.

Heat gain - Heat coming into a home from sources other than its heating/cooling system. Most gains come from the sun.

Stile - The vertical upright on either side (and sometimes the center) of a panel door.

� Electrical permit - A separate permit required for most electrical work.
