I used to have a Black & Decker jigsaw that made my day miserable when cutting lamiate woods. I've tested this Milwaukee jigsaw, cutting a 4X4 wood, plywood and all that... Should I go with the popular Bosch 1590 EVSK which has many glowing reviews or with the Milwaukee 6268-21 which does not have a big following but is still very highly rated? The orbital cutting action with the variable speed is a big improvement over my old straight cutting jig saw. I got this tool about six months ago and it has performed wonderfully for me. I'm always suspicious of combination tools as most of them have serious problems and many of them do nothing well, having succumbed to the "jack of all trades, master of none" fate. Jig saw related help/definitions

Brick veneer - a four-inch brick wall used to provide an exterior finish for a house.

CFM (cubic feet per minute) - A rating that expresses the amount of air a blower or fan can move. The volume of air (measured in cubic feet) that can pass through an opening in one minute.

Capital - The principal part of a loan, i.e. the original amount borrowed.

Fire brick - Brick made of refractory ceramic material which will resist high temperatures. Used in a fireplace and boiler.

Heat gain - Heat coming into a home from sources other than its heating/cooling system. Most gains come from the sun.

Stile - The vertical upright on either side (and sometimes the center) of a panel door.

� Electrical permit - A separate permit required for most electrical work.
