But except for the picture that shows a case with it I'd like to know what is included with the Kit. Is there a safety guard for it. The pictures aren't that clear. And it helps to see a spelled out list of what is included with it. [3] Rating: 5 Date: 2009-09-25 Summary: So far so good ... So far, I can't find any fault with this grinder. I have used it for cutting metal, surface grinding and grinding away rusted nuts/bolts. The lock nut is easy to loosen/tighten, there's plenty of torque, the shield is easily adjusted, the paddle switch is easy to operate while still having a slight bit of "double push" mechanism for safety. The only minor complaint I have is that stuffing the cord back in the case is a little bit of a tight fit but livable. ...more

That alone would justify the additional cost of this vs. a standard grinder. Blade cover was easy to remove and attach. One of these days I may actually use it. Quality, long power cord with long lasting strain relief. (You know the tool will eventually be carried by the cord.) It has excellent torque for a small motor. The grinder is well balanced, I can use it with one hand for trimming firebrick. Th stability handle is great if you need it, but for hard to reach places it can be removed. Grinder related help/definitions
Conductivity - The rate at which heat is transmitted through a material.
Delamination - Separation of the plies in a panel due to failure of the adhesive. Usually caused by excessive moisture.
Firebrick - Highly heat-resistant brick for lining fireplaces and boilers.
Grain - The direction of fibers in lumber or other materials.
Ground iron - The plumbing drain and waste lines that are installed beneath the basement floor. Cast iron was once used, but black plastic pipe (ABS) is now widely used.
Panel - Wood, glass, plastic, or other material set into a frame, such as in a door. Also, a large, flat, rectangular building material such as plywood, hardboard, or drywall.
Premium - Amount payable on a loan.
Rafter - Lumber used to support the roof sheeting and roof loads. Generally, 2 X 10's and 2 X 12's are used. The rafters of a flat roof are sometimes called roof joists.
Run - The horizontal distance a ramp or stairway traverses. Also see rise.
Semigloss paint or enamel - A paint or enamel made so that its coating, when dry, has some luster but is not very glossy. Bathrooms and kitchens are normally painted semi -gloss
Wafer board - A manufactured wood panel made out of 1" - 2" wood chips and glue. Often used as a substitute for plywood in the exterior wall and roof sheathing.
